Lionel Richie takes a third week at the top. Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson move into the top 5 after six weeks on the chart. Talking Heads aren't able to crack the top 2 with their epic track Burning Down The House. and it falls to the 6th spot. Big Country stays locked in the 5th spot.

Only 2 weeks for the Eurythmics at the top of the chart but it isn't the Police that knock out Annie and David. Brits Spandau Ballet take over the top spot ater being on the chart for only 6 weeks.
The Fixx enter into the top 5 also. Billy Joel falls out of the top 5 to number 10 with Tell Her All About It. Parachute Club Rise Up to number 4 after a mighty 12 weeks on the charts. Not sure they will go any higher. Let's find out next week.

Duran Duran holds the top spot for a second week as Michael Jackson pushes his way to number 2. Bananarama slides into number 3. Styx crashes into the top 5 just like Michael Jackson did with Mr. Roboto having been on the chart for only 5 weeks. Lionel Richie rounds up the top 5 at number 5 from 7.
