1050 Chum Chart Saturday Dec 11, 1982 Thirty Years Later

Unfortunately due to technical difficulties with internet archiving I cannot provide a nice colourful chart this week but was able to put together a makeshift chart for Saturday Dec 11, 1982 thirty years later. The biggest question wasn't about the top of the chart this week but how a radio station could champion Trio's great song Da Da Da which ended up in the top 5 after only 4 weeks on the chart and then just as quickly push it out. Da Da Da dropped from 4 to 14 this week. Politics? Questionable decision. Guess Supertramp didn't have to worry at all about Trio in the end as they hold onto the top spot for a 3rd week.

1050 Chum Chart Saturday Dec 4, 1982 Thirty Years Later

Supertramp hold onto the top spot for a second week with It's Raining Again. But look out; Trio just rocketed into the Top 4 with Da Da Da. Of Note, The Spoons celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Arias And Symphonies album this past Friday Night at Revival in Toronto. The song of the same name climbed to number 12 on the chart this week.
